I’m back from my hiatus and ready to share upcoming events again.
A few housekeeping things
For readers:
Thank you for the nice messages several of you have sent over the last few months during my hiatus. I am so appreciative of the support and it means a lot. Truly, truly, truly.
I want to keep this Substack free but Queer on the Street is a team of one person (Nic) so tips are always appreciated!!! But ONLY if you’re in a good spot financially.

Just a lil FYI:
If I miss your event, it’s nothing personal. It was probably an accident, your message was buried in spam, or I simply did not see it. I can only spend so much time on the internet per day looking for events (esp considering I already work 50+ hours/week at my job!)
That being said... Please do not send me mean and angry messages about missing your event. There is no team behind this operation, it’s just me. I’m a human being, not a robot. I do this for you all… and for free.
Advertising
There are several options for placing an ad in the newsletter.
Advertisement starting prices are the following:
If the requester’s event social media page has 3k or less followers | $10
If the requester’s event page or promotional page has 10k or less followers | $15
If the requester’s event page or promotional page has 10,001 or more followers | $20
If the requester is a business, association, network, etc. | $50
tier one | $10 (plus category you fall into) per newsletter
- ad consists of one graphic/flyer (you provide)
- ad will located between Thursday’s and Friday’s events.
note: the graphic (you provide) will have a caption stating it is paid advertisement for transparency purposes and can be hyperlinked to a website of your choice
tier two | $25 (plus category you fall into) per newsletter
- ad consists of one graphic/flyer (you provide)
- a 1-2 sentence blurb
- ad will located between Wednesday’s and Thursday’s events.

tier three | $35 (plus category you fall into) per newsletter
- ad consists of one graphic/flyer (you provide)
- a 2-3 sentence blurb
- ad will located between Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s events.

tier four | $45 (plus category you fall into) per newsletter
- ad consists of one graphic/flyer (you provide)
- a 3-4 sentence blurb

tier five | $50 (plus category you fall into) per newsletter

tier six | $50 (plus category you fall into) per newsletter

Costs increase if the requester wants a larger flyer, more than one flyer and more than just a 2-3 sentence blurb. Etc. Sliding scale is available for QTBIPOC and Trans folks, just reach out. Don’t be shy! <3
Please note: ads will only appear in one newsletter, unless you purchase more ads.
Accepted payments: Venmo or paypal.
